Andrew Grant A&R For Warner Music Group/ Atlantic Records Manager For Songwriters & Producers Before helping orchestrate songs such as “Cookie” by R. Kelly, “Naked” by Jason Derulo (among many others), Andrew Grant started out as an intern to become a recording engineer at Side 3 Studios in Denver, Colorado. Andrew Grant has always had passion for being creative and loving music. Working along side producer DJ Frank E during the early years of his career, Andrew developed a great vision and understanding of the songwriting and production process and what it takes to complete a great song. After engineering with DJ Frank E for multiple years, Andrew began working as an engineer for producer Brian Kennedy. During the later months of his time working with Brian Kennedy, Andrew began helping coordinate sessions for Kennedy and helping fill his schedule. This is when Andrew realized how much he enjoyed the business side of music and began making the transition into management. After working as an engineer for one more year with producer Ricky Reed aka Wallpaper, Andrew began to focus solely on management aspect of music and began transitioning into the business side of the industry. Andrew Grant started his management career with production team, “Team Green”. After being signed to producer “Shawty Redd” the production team already had a great understanding of the sonics of music and the vision to create and finish amazing urban songs as well as making them sound amazing. During this time Andrew helped orchestrate songs such as “Cookie” by R. Kelly, “23” by Rick Ross, along with multiple songs for Wiz Khalifa’s “Taylor Gang” roster. After one year of managing Team Green, Andrew got in contact with artist/ songwriter Drew Love. After working with Drew Love for only 6 months, many of the major publishing companies were interested in working with the new talented songwriter who would later sign a publishing deal with Pulse Publishing. After writing songs for Jason Derulo, Chinx Drugz, K Michelle, and working closely in the studio with many others, Drew Love began working with Andrew’s childhood friend and producer Dante Jones. Later, the two would team up to form the group “They." During the time Drew and Dante were creating music for the “They.” project, the duo inked a production deal with company Mind Of A Genius. This is around the time when Andrew began his A&R career. Working for WMG/ Atlantic Records and alongside the labels Global VP Aton Ben-Horin, Andrew works very close on the labels top priority artist’s projects such as: Flo Rida, David Guetta, Wiz Khalifa, Akon, and many more. Andrew says that his years of being an engineer helped him build his ear, taste, and vision as well as his network to be in the position he is in today. Understanding both the creative and business sides of music is something Andrew prides himself on and is constantly working and looking for new talent to help create the next big thing!
