You may be wondering why Blazetrak is now only focused on music. There are a lot of reasons why we decided to make the switch from multiple verticals (like fashion, film, and sports) to one single vertical. But, the main reason is that we realized how different each and every vertical really is – and that reaching out and serving multiple disciplines was just plain inefficient.
Our mission is, and will always be, to illuminate and accelerate the path between unconnected people. Now that mission is even more focused as we work to connect people in music specifically. We realized over almost three years of operations that people are looking for two distinct things on our platform – opportunity and feedback. People are interested in interacting with icons in the industry, but are ultimately looking for ways to elevate. We want to change lives by allowing for talented customers to grow in their respective craft and be discovered by someone that can help elevate them to realize their dreams. Being focused on music helps us to zero in on that purpose and really deliver.
Here at Blazetrak, we are most inspired when lives are changed – record deals, productions deals, song placements, artists discovered. When those kinds of things occur on a regular basis it is like fuel for our mission.
We were very delighted to launch Blazetrak 3.0, back in April of this year and felt it necessary to do a formal introduction of the changes and updates. First and foremost, you will notice the aesthetics of the entire site have changed. We updated the user account and professional profiles to display transaction and profile data in a more organized fashion.
The search module was revamped to include the sorting of professionals and opportunities based on professions, categories, and genres. We integrated a user-friendly video chat platform for both users and pros to communicate directly with each other in a group fashion, or individually. We also introduced Blazetrak premium accounts. As a premium member, users have the ability to skip their Blazetrak submissions to the front of the line, receive credits back any time before a response is completed, and view a live feed that encompasses all public responses from professionals across the entire platform. Last but not least, we updated our video processing technology to allow all videos (welcome and responses) to be viewed on mobile devices.
We will be growing, and realize that our platform has great potential in other verticals as well. Going forward each vertical will have its own platform and brand. Owning and operating an innovative company takes a great deal of humility. In the end, we believe that our products and services should be a reflection of the wants and desires of our valued customers. Great business revolves around user driven design.
