You may recognize Lisa Wilson Ritter’s sunny smile from having seen her compete in the Miss USA pageant, or on American Idol; but get ready to see a lot more of this lovely lady.
Our new spokesmodel just returned from Nolcha Fashion Week in New York City, where she got her first taste of life as the face of Blazetrak. She met and interviewed several designers, including Iris Perez and Irene Ramos, whose clothing line Abreu Rios was exhibited at Fashion Week as a result of winning our Blazetrak/Nolcha Fashion Week contest. Wilson Ritter had a ball in the Big Apple, and even got to interview Nolcha cofounder and CEO Kerry Bannigan.
Never one to be scared of the stage — or the screen, for that matter — Lisa Wilson Ritter began performing in church at the age of eight. This multitalented Georgia peach (she was born in Rome, GA) has an impressive list of accomplishments; here are just a few.
She is a pageant queen: crowned Miss Georgia USA in 2006, she finished 2nd runner-up in the Miss USA pageant.
She is a singer: she was an American Idol Semifinalist (Season 3), and recorded her first album after the season ended.
She is a TV actor and host: she currently co-hosts Verbalize, an entertainment-focused talk show produced by Explore Studios in Atlanta.
She has graced the covers of several magazines, including New You, Woman’s World, and V3; she has also appeared in People, Star, and other magazines, and was even named one of Atlanta’s 50 Most Beautiful People in 2006 by Jezebel Magazine.
Lisa Wilson Ritter became a Blazetrak pro in December 2010, and she will continue to accept submissions in the future. There can only be bigger and brighter things on the horizon as Blazetrak’s reach keeps expanding — stay tuned!
